Professional Profile

Mr Li is a Senior Counsel with GEN Law Firm. He gives general advice to clients on U.S. law, China investment and other cross-border matters. Mr Li also assists individuals and non-profit organizations in formulating policy and legislative recommendations. He has previously worked at large international law firms and as in-house counsel with multinational enterprises. In addition, he previously served on the Hong Kong Government’s Advisory Group on the Modernization of Corporate Insolvency Law, and more currently he is a Co-opted Member of the Digital Transformation Sub-group of the HKSAR Digital Economy Development Committee. 

Mr Li is a Fellow and Council Member of The Hong Kong Institute of Directors, sitting on several standing committees. He represents Hong Kong in the work of the Global Network of Director Institutes (GNDI). He is also a Founding Member of The Hong Kong-Korea Business Council, and has also been appointed to the External Affairs Committee of The Hong Kong Chinese General Chamber of Commerce.
