The 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE), was held from November 5th to 10th in Shanghai with the theme "New Era, Shared Future" . The national exhibition featured 72 countries and international organizations, while the business exhibition saw participation from 3,486 companies representing 128 countries and regions, including 289 Fortune 500 and industry-leading enterprises. The Expo showcased the global interest in China's import market, as well as China's commitment to further opening up its economy to the world.

He Jing and Annie Xue from GEN Law Firm participated in this Expo by sharing legal perspectives. 



On the morning of November 7th, He Jing participated in the Roundtable on High-Quality Development of Cross-Border Investment, hosted by the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce, the Department of Outward Investment and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce, and the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce. 



The following morning, on November 8th, Annie Xue delivered a presentation in the workshop "About data - data transaction and cross-border transfer." Annie Xue shared her insight on the latest policy trends and legal challenges related to cross-border data transfer, providing valuable legal and business insights to the participants.
